The girls and I went on a big shopping trip for baby clothes, hitting up Carters, Oshkosh, the Children's Place, and Gymboree and spending a slightly obscene amount of money on tiny people outfits. My excuse was that Lucas' wardrobe was a little skimpy in the 12 month and up sizes.
Which it was.
However, I'm quite certain he could have survived on one fourth of what we came home with. After such a successful outing, I was sure I wouldn't need to spend any more money on baby clothes for a good little stretch.
And yet, I somehow found myself at Target the very next day piling outfits into my cart.
After a little intervention self-talk, I managed to reel it in and put some of them back. The outfit I couldn't live without? This monster getup. In a six month size. Because even though six month sizes are borderline too short and tight now, that was the biggest size they had...
And obviously, i have a problem.
Can you blame me for going a little crazy buying clothes? Though, admittedly, he's at his cutest in the buff, he just looks so DARN GOOD in everything!
Of course, during our little photo session, Lucas was more concerned with getting his feet in his mouth.
