I've been keeping up with my daily photos for Project 365and so far, it's been a fun month! I decided to switch from my DSLR to Instagram with my iPhone. The photos don't have the quality of an SLR, but I feel like they capture a little more of the spontaneity. Sometimes, by the time I've gotten my camera out, the external flash ready and am ready to shoot, the moment has passed. Since my iPhone is all but surgically attached to my person, I'm always prepared. The ability to blog the photo right from my phone is also a benefit. As Dan pointed out, what's the fun of doing a photo a day if you don't post them until a month later?
So it's the iPhone for 365 and the DSLR for everything else. Easy peasy.
Sometimes the hardest part of doing Project 365 is deciding on just one photo to document the day. Since there are still plenty that I adore that didn't make the cut for being blurry or not quite what I wanted (or, the most likely situation, there was a picture of the baby that won out for the day) I decided I'd share some of the outtakes from each month here.
