One of my Christmas gifts this year was a Yonanas machine. For those of you unfamiliar with the finer points of kitchen gadgetry, a Yonana machine turns frozen bananas into a soft serve base and, with the addition of other frozen fruits, makes a great all fruit dessert with no added sugar!
I tried my first recipe when David and Colleen returned after the new year and it was a big hit with everyone.
Lucas and grandma shared a dish, though I think buddy would have eaten a whole bowl by himself!
We used the little footed dessert bowls my mom handed down to me. I loved using them when I was growing up. I always felt so fancy eating ice cream out of them and even though they're just cut glass, they still feel so elegant to me!
In the following nights I made an orange recipe and did one with chocolate chips (so, not completely healthy!) but the mixed berry recipe was definitely the group favorite. It was fantastic!
I made popsicles out of the leftovers, which turned out great also. I'd say my Yonana machine is a winner!
